On July 31, 2023, I successfully collected Chang’e-5 lunar soil samples from National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. The next day, I brought them back to the University of Hong Kong. This is the first time that China’s lunar samples are allocated to a scientist team from Hong Kong. The University of Hong Kong held a media conference on August 7 to report the new coming of our lunar soil samples. Tens of medias reported our story to study those precious samples.
